Can you really tell the difference between artificial and live plants?
With premium specimens, often no. The quality gap between budget faux plants and high-end botanical replicas is enormous. We only work with suppliers whose products consistently fool our own horticulturalists on first glance.
What's the difference between artificial and preserved plants?
Artificial plants are made from synthetic materials (silk, plastic, fabric). Preserved plants are real plants that have been treated to maintain their appearance indefinitely without water — popular for moss panels, dried botanicals, and some ferns.
Do artificial plants need any maintenance at all?
Minimal. We recommend a light dusting every few weeks, which any office cleaning staff can handle. Some clients ask us to do a quarterly refresh visit to clean and rearrange — we offer this as an optional service.
Can artificial plants be combined with live plants?
