In the early 80s our founders, Marie Antonucci, Jean-Guy Moya, and Bernice Miles opened our first retail store - The Plant Warehouse - in Yorkville, Toronto. The Plant Warehouse became Benji’s, an affectionate name for both Bernice and the Ficus Benjamina. Shortly afterwards, we began offering plant installation and maintenance services to companies across the GTA.
