🍶 Before the plants, there were pots (and a lot of other beautiful things)
For over 40 years, we’ve been helping Toronto workspaces feel more alive.
Back in 1960, Benji’s wasn’t about plants at all. It started as a small, shop selling beautiful Mexican handcrafts — from hand-painted artwork to unique furniture pieces. Every item was chosen with an eye for design and a love for bringing warmth into people’s spaces.
Then, something new began to take root. 🌱 Tropical plants were becoming a thing in the city, and our founder saw the potential. The idea was simple: why not bring greenery into the mix? Just like the handcrafted pieces, each plant was chosen to elevate a space, not just decorate it.
Over the decades, our workspaces and clients have changed. In the early days, you could walk into an office, move things around, and tend to plants without a second thought. Today, we work quietly and carefully, respecting every client’s time and environment. But one thing hasn’t changed: the relationships.
🌳 We still have clients who have been with us since the beginning...
People who’ve trusted us for over four decades. They stay because we treat every plant like it’s our own, and every client like they’re part of the family. We listen, we adapt, and we make sure they feel valued.
We’re a blend of entrepreneurs, and design lovers.
That mix started with our founders and has carried on through generations, along with the same family values: kindness, care, and a genuine love for making spaces better.
For us, plants are not just about how they look. They’re about how they make you feel when you walk into your office. And our goal has always been the same — to create workplaces that are not only greener, but also happier, healthier, and more inspiring for everyone who walks through the door.

Ready to fall in love with your office again?
We’ve done it for hundreds of Toronto workspaces, and we’d love to do it for yours. Let’s talk plants.
