Interior plant design by Benji's in a Toronto office lobby specified with an architecture and design team
For Interior Designers & Architects

Your project, still alive in year two.

You design the space. We spec, install and maintain the plants so it keeps looking the way you drew it.

Working inside designers' drawings since 1980. We build within your plan — we don't redesign around it.

How We Work With Your Team

One supplier, from drawings to year two

You stay the designer — we take on the part that fails after you hand over the keys.

1

You send the drawings

Floor plan, finish palette, and what you want the space to feel like. That's enough for us to start.

2

We spec the plants and the planters

Species and vessels chosen to match your palette — and to hold up in the light, the HVAC and the traffic that room actually has. You don't have to guess what survives; that's our job.

3

You approve, we source

Quantities, sizes and budget in a format you can drop straight into your FF&E package. Plants and planters from one supplier, not three.

4

Our own crew installs

We install to your schedule and your placement plan — from a single floor to an 11-floor program.

5

Post-installation maintenance

Scheduled visits, pruning, pest control and free replacements, on an agreement your client signs — not one more thing left on your plate. Your project keeps photographing well.

Frequently asked questions

Have you worked with design teams before?

Constantly — most of our portfolio arrived through one. At The Millway, our planting had to sit inside Diamond Schmitt's architecture and Figure3's interiors and read as part of the design rather than an afterthought. At WeWork, the planter style and colour came from the design team's selections and we sourced to them. And a steady share of our new work is designers referring us to their own clients, which only happens when the last project still looks right.

Will you change the look we designed?

No. You set the language; we work inside it. If a species we'd normally recommend fights your palette, we find another one that doesn't — and if nothing will survive in a spot you've drawn planting into, we tell you early, while it's still cheap to move.

Can you work from our drawings?

Yes. Send us the floor plan and your finish palette and we come back with a plant and planter spec, zone by zone, with quantities and a budget you can drop into your FF&E package.

Do you supply the planters too?

We do. We source vessels that match your palette — so plants and planters come from one supplier instead of two, and the result looks designed rather than bought off a shelf.

How do you decide which species go where?

We read the space first: available light, HVAC and vents, sightlines, traffic. Then we only spec plants that will hold up in those conditions. You keep the look you designed; we take on the risk of what survives it.

What happens after installation?

Post-installation maintenance takes over: scheduled visits for watering, pruning and pest control, plus free replacements. The agreement is signed directly with your client, so it never becomes your admin — but your project keeps looking like the renderings long after you've moved on.

When should we bring you in?

Design development is ideal, so planters can be coordinated with millwork, drainage and power. But we're used to coming in at the FF&E stage, or even right before occupancy, and working to the schedule you have.

Do you work across the GTA?

Yes — Toronto and the GTA, from single-floor studios to multi-floor headquarters. We've delivered Shopify's 11-floor program and WeWork's 8 Toronto locations.
