The heartleaf philodendron, botanically Philodendron hederaceum, is a trailing vine with small, glossy, heart-shaped leaves 5–10cm across that cascade from a shelf or hanging planter. It's the compact, low-light relative of Philodendron Selloum, the large floor plant with deeply cut leaves that can spread 60cm or more. The standard form is solid dark green; varieties like Brasil, Micans and Lemon Lime add colour and texture.
